One day until the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass! Should be an exciting tournament.
Are you a long hitter? A new event is now on the New Zealand golf calendar - the Trident Homes 2017 New Zealand Long Drive Championships, with the winner representing New Zealand at the Volvik World Long Drive Championship in, Oklahoma, US later in the year.
Where's the longest you've ever hit the ball? Do you remember that day? The course you were on and the hole? How far did it go? Who was there to marvel at your hitting prowess?
Around the world there are some pretty long courses where your longest drive would most definitely come in handy.
Check out the following long courses:
- Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, China officially recognised by the Guiness Book of Records as the worlds longest regulation Par 72 course at a very long 8548 Yards!
- Nullabor Links: This extraordinarily long and unique course is a 18-hole par 72 golf course that spans 1,365 kilometres with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia!
Two more days until the weekend. Enjoy the rest of the week!
